If you decide to work as a freelance model, Barbie and Gretchen Capó, Founder of GModels in Puerto Rico, will talk about how some modeling agencies serve as intermediaries and counselors during the process of invoicing your services and finalizing a deal. 

1. You must do social media research on the person who wants to collaborate with you or work with you. Always analyze and study their social networks. This will help you verify that they are trustworthy and professional.

 

2. Coordinate a virtual appointment before having contact with that person. This will help you get to know each other a little better before working. In this meeting, it is important to make clear from the pay, the time and duration of the promotion. Know all the details and most importantly SET BOUNDARIES.

 

3. Never attend a shooting alone or alone and always listen to your sixth sense. If you don't like the vibe, abort the mission.

 

4. Remember that you always have the support of agencies such as Gmodels that can serve as a legal representative as long as you meet certain requirements.
